All In The Family

The Oliver Factor: Stephanie
Played by: Danielle Brisebois
Yet another show ruined by a kid.  All in the Family was a classic television show.  It broke new ground when it came on the air.  It had several spin-offs, like The Jeffersons, Gloria and Archie Bunker's Place.  It was a great show.  But then like most shows it decided to add a kid.  The character of Stephanie was added when Gloria and her family moved to California.

We first got a look at Stephanie in 1978.  The following year All In The Family was off the air.  But it was replaced by Archie Bunker's Place, which didn't last long.

The problem with Stephanie was that it changed Archie too much.  First we had this rude, non politically correct man, then we had him caring for this child.  It was too much.

Danielle continues working in show business.   She had written a song for Kelly Clarkson's  debut CD and sings background on two songs.  Plus she has also written a song for another American Idol singer, Clay Aiken for his CD "Measure Of A Man".
